Friskies Class of '86 Seniors are seen here either posin' or studyin'. Perhaps they were doing both. Anyhoo...pictured here sitting on the far left is Mariam St. James, and Phyllis Gadegbeku sitting on the far right. Please tell us who the other Friskies are: standing in the back and sitting in the middle. You can use the comments section to identify them.
It has come to the end of the road. The girls have put in work and graduation if finally upon them. So why not stop to take it in for a moment. Class of '86 Graduates pictured here are: Magsnoh Kollison and Juliana Sienynekon Koffa (sun glasses) are on the far left, and Kai Davies is on the far right. Use the comments section to help us identify the girls between Juliana and Kai.
NOTE: The picture is dated Feb 1, 1987, Class of '86 school year was extended into early '87 because of political unrest during the Doe administration.
We Remember...
...The Late Alexander Kojo Anderson - Coach, Teacher, Mentor - was a legendary coach of iconic stature in Liberia. Affectionately known as Psycho, he coached and taught at St. Patrick's High School. He also coached St. Teresa's Convent and multiple teams in the National League in Liberia. He was particularly famous for "Blue Moon", an unstoppable system of plays that he implemented on the high school and national basketball level. More importantly, he taught and mentored many students in and around Monrovia for decades.
He is pictured here in his office in 1986.
Rest in Peace Psycho. You are dearly missed.
