Sports Commission 1984: Coach Alexander Kojo Anderson, aka Psycho, had a tradition of signing his Friskies teams up for "summer league" basketball in Monrovia. In 1984, the entire Friskies team was entered into the National League as Hornets. This keeps Friskies game tight and playing all year round.
