ACS Gym - 1978: In one of our epic Saints battles, center Boakai Kiahon #22 shoots free throws. Going up against Kiahon in any game was not an easy assignment. You had better bring your lunch bucket cause your day was gonna be long. Kiahon was big, strong and tough. He was our rim protector and leading rebounder. Attack the rim at your own risk cause Kiahon would be there waiting for you. No fanfare, no flash. He just put in work. This was classic Saints Basketball.
ACS Gym - 1978. Any game involving Saints came with it's share of excitement, drama and anticipation. From the moment Saints' bus arrived at the gym, windows foggy from "steam up", to the moment the team entered the gym, fans would be "rocking". The sight of green and white splashed all over the floor made fans go crazy. Singing, cheering, rocking - the noise from excited fans was almost deafening. Saints basketball was never just a game.
