FOOTNOTE: Long before the basketball rivalry of the 70s that produced epic battles between the Saints Friskies, the Spartans, and the Foxes, there was the soccer rivalry between the Saints and Foxes during the 50s and 60s. That rivalry also produced some of the most memorable games that Saints Friskies of that era still talk about today.
SAINTS vs FOXES - 1961: The day the Saints tamed arch-rival Foxes (CWA) at Antoinette Tubman Stadium in a soccer thriller. Saints and Foxes played 4 times, and the game ended in a draw all 4 times.
